Our Key Personnel

Ganesh has more than 18 years ofextensive and in depth experience inelectrical engineering services generally and in particular 16 yearsin site testing, commissioning & maintenance of power installations up to 275kV in Oil & Gas Industries(On Shore & Off Shore), Power Utility Companies, Mining and Heavy Industries such as steel & cementplants in Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia.

Ganesh is a successful leader with a good attitude that gained much respect from all his colleagues and networks. His generosity in sharing knowledge knows no bound make him approachable by others as well.

As an Electrical Test Engineer, he has participated and executed successfully various types of electrical testing, servicing, and commissioning jobs using the latest automated test system and reliable condition monitoring equipment and software.

Currently, he is actively involved in Partial Discharge testing on Rotating Machines, HV Cables, and Power transformersboth online and off-line using test equipment from Doble, SebaMKT, NDB,and HVPD. He holds a current membership with IET, UK, and IEAustand has successfully completed his professional skill assessment with Engineers Australia.

In 2016, he was appointed as Senior Technical Manager and later on as aTechnical Director/Asia Manager for Electest(M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Electest based in Kuala Lumpur. He has successfully developed the business tothe highest level and made the companywell known and reputable in South East Asia generally and Malaysia specifically.

In 2020, Ganesh together with James have established their own company called Electest Solutions Pty Ltd in Perth, WA. Electest Solutions aim to provide professional and specialised electrical testing using the latest technology and services in Western Australia and planning to grow nationally across Australia in coming years.

James begins his career with ElectestSdn. Bhd (Malaysia), for 3 years as atechnical test engineer before shiftingto electrification business companywhere he worked at ABB MalaysiaSdn. Bhd., as a design engineer &relay regional support. At ABB,James' role is mainly focusing onswitchgear secondary engineeringdesign and product technical support.One of his achievements was tointroduce REF542+ Protection Relayto switchgear factories in the region.

After 6 years serving ABB Malaysia,James was promoted to be a regionaltechnical support engineer for ABB Finland for another 5 years before hemoved back to ABB Malaysia as aDivision Manager for DistributionAutomation Business Unit. During histenure at ABB, he gained hisProfessional Engineer license from the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

In September 2012, James moved to Electest and joined as an Electrical Engineer. He was involved in commissioning, testing, and maintenance of the electrical installation. James gained more experience with Schneider Electric -WA for few years in between before he decided to join back Electest and involve in technical support and business development for Electest Malaysia along side Ganesh.

In 2020, James together with Ganesh have established their owncompany called Electest Solutions Pty Ltd in Perth, WA. Electest Solutions aim to provide professional and specialized electrical testing using the latest technology and services in Western Australia and planning to grow nationally across Australia in the coming years.
